Andrea will be 5 months old on August 10th. Wow, can you believe in september she will be 6 months old. I don't know, 6 mo just seems so old to me. In the previous post I said that Andrea loves to play with her toes but she was not yet able to get them to her mouth. The very next day she was sucking on her toes. It was like she knew that I said she couldn't do something and she wanted to prove to me that she could. She is now eating green beans and sweet potatoes. She loves sweet potatoes! Next it's on to squash and carrots! These days Andrea has been rolling like crazy. As soon as you put her on her back she immediately starts rolling over, which can get frustrating when you are trying to change a dirty diaper. While on her belly she has really been trying to get up on all fours. She is able to scoot a couple of inches at a time but she really wants to crawl. She also likes to be on her belly more now. She has also been teething for what seems like months. She will chew on anything and everything that comes near her. She also drools like a St. Bernard. I feel so bad sometimes b/c you can tell that her gums hurt so much. I hope for her sake that these teeth start to come. For those of you that don't know Dan is starting school in the fall at YSU. He is enrolled in a 2 yr program that will make him a lineman with First Energy when he is finished. Currently I am working full-time (2 eight hr shifts and 2 twelve hr shifts a week) and Dan is home with the baby. Dan has learned really quick how to be a great father. It makes it a little easier when I have to work to know that Andrea is able to spend the day with her daddy.
